Genesis Products is making an appearance in race-car driving with its latest partnership.
The supplier partnered with IndyCar Series driver Santino Ferrucci, who drives car No. 14 for AJ Foyt Racing. Ferrucci placed in the top 10 in four IndyCar series races this year.
The alliance was fueled by a shared passion for RVing.
Genesis Vice President of Marketing and Development Erin Curtis said, “Go to any IndyCar race, and you will see tons of fans traveling in RVs, so there is a connection to the lifestyle on a consumer level.”
Genesis collaborated with Forest River Coachmen and General RV Center to provide Ferrucci with a Coachmen Euro Type A motorhome for three race weekends this season. The motorhome features Genesis cabinets and countertops.
“Not only does this give us a chance to build awareness for our high-quality RV interior products,” Curtis said, “it also gives us a chance to highlight our OEM partners, like Forest River, as we defy the limits of expected design together.”
Genesis will conduct a social media campaign this summer featuring Ferrucci RVing with the Euro.
