Consumers toured 47 Grand Design RVs during America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Sept. 11-15. The manufacturer reported high consumer interest at the show.
The manufacturer displayed its new Lineage and Serenova vehicles. The Lineage Series M Type C motorhome was on display featuring the 25FW floorplan. The Serenova is a 20-foot-long, single-axle luxury travel trailer with a 5,400-pound GVWR.
Rob Groover, Grand Design general manager for Solitude, Momentum and Influence brands, said, “We knew going into Hershey that we had a lot to offer, but the sheer volume of interest and excitement from consumers really exceeded our expectations.”
During the show, the manufacturer offered consumers a virtual reality (VR) experience where participants could tour floorplans that were not physically at the event. Groover said the tool enabled consumers to view all Grand Design offerings. According to Groover, the consumer response to the experience was phenomenal.
According to Groover, the team received insightful consumer feedback to enhance vehicles.
“At the end of the day,” Groover said, “we want to connect with current and future owners on a personal level, and that is exactly what we did.”
