The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following 2024 RV recalls:

AIRSTREAM, INC.

Air Conditioner May Catch Fire

An air conditioner soft start device that overheats increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 269

Airstream is recalling certain 2024 Airstream Trade Wind travel trailers equipped with certain GE air conditioners. The air conditioner’s soft start device may fail and overheat.

The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 11. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at [email protected], 877-596-6505 or 937-596-611, ext. 7401.
