RVing in New England, the New England RV Dealers Association’s (NERVDA) weekly online talk show, will host Chris Bornemann on Wednesday to discuss the impact of the Great American Outdoors Act on the RV industry. Bornemann is the director of government affairs for the RV Industry Association. He worked closely with the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable, which is made up of 32 national associations representing more than 110,000 businesses, representing RVIA in this effort.
“If you’re an RVer or any kind of outdoor recreation enthusiast, the Great American Outdoors Act is the best thing to happen to our community in six decades,” Bornemann said.
The Great American Outdoors Act will invest up to $9.5 billion of non-taxpayer funds to address the infrastructure within the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and other federal agencies. The new law will also fully fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) and provide $900 million per year in investment in the public lands, parks, and trails that are the backbone of the outdoor recreation economy.
Bornemann will join hosts John DiPietro and Bob Zagami to discuss how consumers will benefit from the bi-partisan legislation. The show will be broadcast on the NERVDA Facebook page at 7 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, August 26. The show can also be accessed after the original airing on the NERVDA YouTube channel.
Weekly shows average between 6,000 and 8,000 views within a week of the original airing of the show.
