The election for the RVIA board of directors is starting next week.
The highest-level authority in the association’s overall organizational structure, the RVIA board of directors is responsible for setting and overseeing strategy and policies related to critical topics such as standards, marketing, government affairs, industry education, statistical data and association finances.
Fifteen candidates for the open seats were announced in August. From that pool, three manufacturers, one park model manufacturer, one supplier and two at-large seats will be filled in the upcoming election.
Only one vote per member company is permitted and will be cast by each member company’s official representative. Formal instructions for voting will be emailed to all official reps at member companies on September 8 for the voting period, taking place Sept. 8 – Sept. 29. Winners will be informed by October 1 and an announcement of the results will follow. Newly elected board members will begin serving their terms on Jan. 1, 2021.
Any official reps who do not receive an email with voting instructions by the end of the day on Sept. 8 may contact RVIA’s Colleen Muldoon at [email protected].
