Colin Dechant will succeed Jason Gill as General Manager for Keystone RV’s Montana and Montana High Country luxury fifth wheel brands. Dechant joins Montana Product Manager Sam Lengerich during a period when the brands are experiencing double-digit market share growth, according a Statistical Surveys report comparing July 2020 to July 2019. Montana and Montana High Country have led the industry in luxury fifth wheel sales since 2001.

“I’m humbled to have the opportunity to lead this franchise brand. Montana’s record of success is extraordinary,” Dechant said. “I’m excited about the challenge to set the bar even higher and think we can do so with Montana’s great partnerships, product-driven innovation, and input from Montana’s incredibly loyal product base.”

“Jason had great vision. He loved to dial in the details of a coach and didn’t stop until it was perfect. I could trust Jason with any challenge I threw at him,” Keystone President & CEO Jeff Runels said about Gill. “The entire company has benefited from his passion and his loyalty. And although he’ll be missed, his decision to take more time with family feels fully consistent with the kind of man Jason is.”

With twenty-one years of experience from both the supplier and OEM sides of the business, Dechant impressed Josh Miller, vice president of sales at Keystone.

“For obvious reasons, we wanted a superstar in this role. Colin’s reputation, operational capabilities and drive are phenomenal,” Miller said. “He is exactly the right person to ensure, and potentially even accelerate, Montana’s incredible success. We feel fortunate to welcome him to the team.”
