JR Products Acquires Camp Casual

JR Products, an RV supplier based in Buffalo, New York, will offer outdoor accessories with a vintage touch following the company’s acquisition of Camp Casual, effective Nov. 13.

Camp Casual, established in 2014 by entrepreneur Rosie Hirsh, produces retro-themed outdoor lifestyle products.

“JR Products is a leading supplier of replacement hard parts and service items,” President Brian Roba stated. “We have spent the last 50 years perfecting that trade. As we continue to grow, we are constantly looking for new categories to expand our business.”

One category that Roba noted has taken off are the “feel goods.”

“These products are not necessarily a need, but a lifestyle want,” Roba stated. “They relate specifically to an individual’s personality and fit within modern trends in our industry. When we reviewed this category closely, there was one company that had great products, uniquely designed with exceptional customer service that was synergistic with what our own brand stands for, and that was Camp Casual.”

JR Products and Camp Casual are in the process of merging operations, IT, warehousing and marketing platforms. A smooth and seamless transition is the goal, JR Products stated. The two companies will operate business as usual until the transition is completed over the upcoming weeks.

“I am excited that by uniting with JR Products, Camp Casual will expand and continue providing our customers with an outstanding offering of fun and functional products for their outdoor exploration activities,” Hirsh stated. “Camp Casual has always been about family and adventure. We know JR Products share those same values. We can’t wait to see what is next.”

JR Products is looking forward to smooth changes and continued exceptional service to the RV community, the company stated.

“Created from scratch from a visionary entrepreneur, Rosie Hirsch, [Camp Casual] is something we followed from its inception just a few years ago, to already being the market leader in the category,” Roba stated. “We couldn’t be any more excited for the future of JR Products’ new Camp Casual division, and all the fun things we can create in it.”
