RVIA’s October 2020 survey of manufacturers found that total RV shipments finished the month with 47,326 units, an increase of 21.4 percent from the 38,972 units shipped in October 2019.
This represents the second-highest October on record. It is the most units shipped in a month since April 2018.
“In May, following a nearly two-month shutdown, year to date RV shipments were down 25 percent,” RVIA President Craig Kirby stated. “In response to the pandemic and people’s desire to have the freedom to travel while also controlling their environment, the RV industry came roaring back, making up nearly that entire deficit in less than six months.”
