Truma North America announced Dave Ricks as its new head of sales and service.

Ricks will lead the team in strategic sales planning, personnel development, call center and service technician management locally and remotely across the U.S.

“Our commitment to providing world-class service and support for our customers in the North American market continues,” Business Development Senior VP Mark Howlett stated. “Manufacturers recognize the value of installing Truma systems in their RV builds. OEMs can provide a better RVing experience for their customers and differentiate their RVs from their competitors with Truma components. Adding Dave to our team will help us further focus our delivery of innovative systems to the industry. Our goal continues to maximize the ROI of an RV purchase, and this delivery goes beyond the sales interaction and covers the entire product life cycle. We are looking forward to having Dave lead that objective.”

Ricks has more than 15 years of industry experience in the mobile home and RV sector based in the Elkhart, Indiana area, Truma stated. In his previous role, the company said he led a new acquisition to a 50 percent growth in revenue. Ricks is a previous President’s Award winner for outstanding sales gains, the company stated.

“The RV industry is facing unprecedented times, and with more and more families looking to explore the outdoors, we at Truma want to ensure they focus on their adventure in comfort,” President and CEO Gerhard Hundsberger stated. “We are committed to providing customers a seamless experience across sales and service, wherever they may be traveling. The addition of Dave solidifies our commitment to providing world-class service and support.”

“I am very excited to be joining the Truma North America team,” Ricks stated. “Their reputation of exceptional quality, cutting edge innovations and world-class service, make them the leader in the premium RV components supplier market in the United States. I am looking forward to supporting our partners in their success and ensuring the customer experience is the gold standard.”
