Water, a drinking water systems and appliances distributor, added a new purification system to the company’s water treatment system catalogue.
The Acuva Eco NX-SILVER Water Purification System connects to a 110V AC or 12V DC power source to produce safer water in an RV, boat, off-grid or at home.
“More than ever before, health and wellness are at the forefront of residential design and consumers now view an in-home water purification system as an essential luxury,” VP of Sales Chris Arnold stated. “Acuva’s UV-LED technology offers peace of mind that clean drinking water is always at the ready, and the compact nature of the system makes it easy to install in your home, vacation home, RV or boat.”
Acuva’s technology eliminates up to 99.9999 percent of bacteria and viruses using Water’s patented UV-LED IntenseBeam, the company stated. The system directs an intense UV light beam into the water stream to instantly kill bacteria and viruses. Using ultraviolet light for water purification results in minimal maintenance costs and an ability to turn on and off automatically, Water stated.
Over the product’s lifetime, the system reduces the need for 1.2 million single-use plastic water bottles, the company stated.
Acuva includes a built-in instant flow sensing activation triggers system when the faucet is turned on. All purification systems come with mounting equipment, plumbing supplies and a power adapter.
The system is NSF/ANSI 55 Class B certified, which is given to products that effectively reduce bacteria in drinking water. Acuva also received NSF/ANSI 372 certification for lead content compliance, Water stated.
