CURT, a towing products and trailer hitch supplier, is expanding its Rebellion XD custom hitch line with shank options and new accessories.
In addition to a new 2.5-inch shank option that accommodates class five receiver hitches, dual-ball options for 2-inch and 2.5-inch receivers will accommodate 2-inch or 2-5/16-inch couplers and up to 15,000 and 20,000 gross trailer weight.
The product line will include a new pintle mount with standard holes to accept any pintle hook or ball-and-pintle combos, CURT stated.
Additionally, the Rebellion XD shank will offer a key-alike lock set to provide extra theft and tamper protection. The option replaces the clips securing vertical shank pins, CURT stated, and can be purchased individually or as a kit with an additional hitch lock.
The line’s new spring clip retains vertical shank pins and works to keep them secured. The new clip replaces the need to have two traditional clips.
