Rollin’ On TV, Forest River to Run Second Care Camps Raffle

Last year, Rollin’ On TV partnered with Forest River to raffle off the manufacturer’s No Boundaries travel trailer, donating proceeds to childhood cancer charity Care Camps. When the companies surpassed the ticket sales goal, they decided to run the raffle again this year.

The companies are planning a similar Care Camps fundraiser with the chance to win another No Boundaries travel trailer, nicknamed the Super NO BO II.

“Care Camps took a big hit with COVID this year,” said Jose Moniz, Rollin’ On TV executive producer. “So, anything we can do to help, we will.”

Raffle ticket sales will be available April 1 through September. Moniz said he wants to reveal the winner on live TV at the RV/MH Hall of Fame.

“This NO BO we gave away last year, I never got to see the thing live,” Moniz said. “I am hands-on when it comes to building this stuff, so I am excited to see this year’s NO BO.”

Slowed RV production in the spring last year meant the first NO BO raffled off was missing some details the companies wanted to include in the custom unit.

The Super NO BO II is a customized Forest River No Boundaries 16.6 bunk bed model. “The NO BO will be wilder in appearance and accessories than last year,” Moniz said. The Super NO BO II already is built, and the team is working on getting suppliers together to design the interior.

This year’s 22-foot-long prize will include an awning, kayaks on the roof and a trail bike.

“Whoever gets this is going to have the whole outdoor package,” Moniz said. “Especially if the winner is a new RVer, before you know it, you can spend thousands on equipment. You do not need to buy anything. You are ready to have a good time.”

Moniz said he wanted to give a week-by-week TV report on last year’s NO BO construction, but was unable to with delayed production and COVID-19 safety regulations. He said he plans to implement the weekly report this time around.

In addition to the travel trailer winner, three others will receive kayaks and bikes. Moniz said he thinks the additional prizes will increase this year’s raffle sales. “This year, our goal is $40,000 in ticket sales,” he said, “but we are hoping to double that.”
