New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham issued a new executive order extending public health restrictions until March 5.
New Mexico’s restrictions had been set to expire Feb. 5.
RV dealerships, other than vehicle servicing, fall under the state’s Red to Green framework. In the counties designated as Red, dealerships only can conduct sales visits by appointment, with capacity limited to 25 percent or 75 customers, whichever total is lower.
Eight counties are designated as Yellow, with restrictions at 25 percent or 125 customers, whichever total is lower. Harding County is the lone Green county in the state, where capacity is limited to 50 percent.
Vehicle manufacturing is considered an essential service and such businesses are allowed to remain open. Online sales are permitted in all counties.
On the campground side, overnight camping in state parks is prohibited. New Mexico residents may use state parks during the day. Private parks and campgrounds are limited in capacity from 40 percent in Red counties to 75 percent in Green counties. Campgrounds whose owners have not completed state certified training are limited to a range of 25 percent to 40 percent.
