Despite weather setbacks, the Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) hosted its Jacksonville RV Mega Show. Regional Show Coordinator Patty Flanagan said dealers and vendors were “extremely happy with attendance.”

The event turnout was good, Flanagan said, with safety procedures such as temperature checks, social distancing and required masks enforced throughout the Jacksonville Equestrian Center venue.

The show took place Feb. 11-14, with participating dealers such as Campers Inn of Jacksonville, Como RV and General RV displaying offerings.

“Campers Inn had their handicap-accessible units,” Flanagan said regarding show exhibits. “I think many people were excited to see those, because there are definitely not a lot of [similar] models made directly from the manufacturer. It is usually an aftermarket build.”

FRVTA has hosted its Jacksonville event at the Equestrian Center for 11 years, Flanagan said, although the event was launched in 1995.

Last year’s show saw 8,975 attendees. Further information about the event will be disclosed soon.
