Curt, Ranch Hand Spotlight Cow Horse, Rider Safety

A new partnership between Lippert subsidiary Curt, Ranch Hand and the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) will provide safety and efficiency for reined cow horses and riders on the road.

Originally called the California Reined Cow Horse Association, NRCHA was established in 1949 with a goal of preserving and educating the public on traditional California-style, vaquero horsemanship. The association is responsible for supporting trained working cow horses and ensuring competition standards.

Paired with towing and truck products offered by Curt and Ranch Hand, Lippert stated the partnership will be “vital” for protecting road-dwelling cow horses and their owners.

“We see the amazing passion NRCHA members have for their horses, the cow horse community and the organization as a whole,” Lippert Director of Channel Marketing Krista Parin said. “Developing product solutions geared towards ranchers and equine enthusiasts alike is a focus for us, and we cannot wait to see how we can work together in the future.”

The partnership will kick-off at the 2021 DT Horses Western Derby in Scottsdale, Arizona, on June 2. A fully outfitted truck will be on display for NRCHA participants and event attendees to familiarize with Curt towing products and Ranch Hand accessories offered from the new corporate sponsor.

The DT Horses Western Derby will take place June 2-13 at Scottsdale’s WestWorld. Those interested in NRCHA and future events can find more information here.
