RV custom product supplier MORryde’s founder, Robert Gregg Moore Sr., died at 83 years old due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) complications at his home in Elkhart, Indiana, according to an obituary published in the Goshen News.
Moore was born in 1937 in Elkhart. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1962, where he was a member of a small team that computerized the military payroll system.
In 1966, Moore founded MORryde and served as the company’s president until his retirement in 1985. His obituary noted that Moore’s main passion and purpose with the business was to support global missions outreach. He served on numerous boards, including the World Missionary Press, Word of Life Fellowship, MORryde International, Bank One, People to People and more.
Moore married Ann Martin in 1958 and the two spent more than 62 years together. He is survived by his wife, three children, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Since retiring, Moore and Ann spent 35 years traveling in Sarasota, Florida.
