RV owner organization FMCA is touting “The Spirit of Wyoming” with its upcoming 103rd International Convention and RV Expo, which will host more than 1,200 owners.
The event is slated July 7-10 in Gillette, Wyoming, and welcomes all RV owners to join the festivities hosted at the state’s Cam-Plex event facilities.
“We are excited to be in Gillette for our July celebration of all things RVing,” FMCA National President Jon Walker said. “It will be great to enjoy the hospitality of the folks at Cam-Plex and in the city of Gillette once again as we start to return to normal, and to resume the travel and the gatherings that are the fabric of the FMCA RV Club. Cam-Plex has become one of our favorite convention sites, and we are looking forward to this return visit.”
During an FMCA convention, RV owners stay in their units at the host facility in a pop-up “neighborhood.”
The event’s RV Expo portion will feature major manufacturers and dealers offering tours of latest models. RV accessories, components, services and products will be unveiled to travelers.
Educational seminars are available to attendees who are not shopping. Various RV experts will conduct sessions on topics including tire maintenance, technology and safe driving, and RV travel in Alaska and international locations. Participants will have numerous opportunities to socialize and network with other RVers through organized activities.
Owners interested in attending the FMCA convention are invited to bring their RV and stay on-site for a $245 gate registration price, which also grants attendees a one-year FMCA membership. A $10 per day, or $25 per family, admission fee will apply to those wanting to see the expo’s RV displays and supplier booths. Those interested in seeing exhibits in addition to attending seminars can buy a daily passport for $50 per person, per day.
RV Expo hours will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. MST July 7. On July 8-10, hours will extend from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST.
