Canada’s largest RV dealership network, Leisure Days RV Group, is continuing its stated expansion by acquiring one dealership and the company’s first campground.
The company’s new London, Ontario-based dealership, Hiemstra Trailer Sales, will bring the group’s sites to 28 total. Leisure Days also acquired Happy Green Acres Campground located in Mallorytown, Ontario.
“Hiemstra Trailer Sales was started in the backyard of my parents’ home in 1966 and has been our family business for over 50 years,” the dealership’s owner, Wayne Hiemstra, said. “I am pleased to sell to the Leisure Days RV Group because I am confident that they will continue to provide our RV customers with the same great service that they have become accustomed to from our great team at Hiemstra.”
Established in 1971, Happy Green Acres Campground sits on 15 acres with 149 campsites that feature sewer, water and 30-amp hydro hookups. It is an adult-focused campground specializing in seasonal, group and event camping. The campground is 10 minutes from a boat ramp accessing the 1000 Islands.

Leisure Days is headquartered in Ottawa and was founded in 2003 when the company opened RV Canada.
