Grand Design RV recently welcome a trio of state legislators to its corporate office in Middlebury, Indiana.
Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston, Republican state Rep. Joanna King (D-49) and Republican state Rep. Doug Miller (D-48) made the journey to Middlebury. The group got a personal production plant tour from Grand Design President and CEO Don Clark.
Among the discussions were the impact and responsibility Grand Design carries as a significant employer.
“It is an honor to be visited by our state representatives,” Clark said. “Entrepreneurship, work ethic and innovation are at the heart of every Hoosier business. The opportunity to discuss these ideals with Indiana’s thought leaders and decision-makers is something we do not take lightly.”
The tour was followed by a charity luncheon at Elcona Country Club in Bristol, Indiana.
“It is really incredible what you (Grand Design) do here,” Huston said. “It is important for us to see, understand and support the industries that help Indiana run efficiently and profitably day in and day out.”
King said: “The growth Grand Design RV has seen in such a short stint of time is remarkable. A local business employing many of our local workforce is a significant resource for our county.”
