Coachmen RV, a division of Forest River, Inc., will rebrand its Type C Cross Trek motorhome as Cross Trail.

The company said the transformation will pave the way for innovative features and floorplans.

“The Cross Trail meets a market demand that was previously left void,” said Nate Saunders, sales manager for Cross Trail and Prism. “Our customers have asked for functional, storage-centric floorplans that are easy to operate and even easier to enjoy. The Cross Trail Class C delivers on these expectations and is an exciting new brand that we are proud to bring to the market.”

Coachmen RV’s website listed eight floorplans, including two Ford Transit chassis floorplans and six Ford E350/E450 chassis floorplans. RVs varied in length from 24 feet, 1 inch to 34 feet, 10 inches.

“Coachmen built the Class C you grew up with. Now we are building the Class C to meet the needs of a new generation of RVers,” Coachmen Type C General Manager Mike Bear said. “The Cross Trail answers the call of the emerging adventure RVer and will continue to deliver the quality Coachmen is known for.”
