Lippert Components, Inc. promoted Marc Grimes to senior vice president of product strategy. In his new role, the company said Grimes will provide support to Lippert’s product managers and focus on product positioning and updates while continuing to drive value into the customer experience.

Grimes has been with Lippert for 21 years, 18 of which he has spent fulfilling a variety of executive roles. Immediately before this position, he was the vice president of engineering; and directly before that, he served as the vice president of operations for the Chassis group.

“We could not be more excited to have Marc focusing on bringing innovative solutions to our customers,” Andy Murray, chief sales officer, said. “We recognize the need to be even more aggressive bringing high-value new products to market that improve the end-user experience at all levels moving forward, and Marc will help us do just that. His unmatched knowledge of our core product lines combined with longstanding industry relationships and passion for the business make him a perfect fit for this role.”

Grimes has worked with nearly all the Lippert product lines in an operational or engineering role, the company said. He has been involved in many customer-facing and operational aspects of Lippert’s core components business.

Grimes’ initial focus will be core chassis products and components.

“I look forward to spending more time working with customers as well as our internal Lippert teams on what they need to be successful,” he said. “I will work to continue positioning Lippert to be the go-to solution for RV OEM needs that furthers the customer experience, as well as ensuring our customers have products that provide the value they desire. I have worn many hats at Lippert over the years, and I am excited for this new chapter and looking forward to continuing to raise the bar on the customer experience.”
