Reyco Granning Awarded ComfortMaster Patent

Reyco Granning announced the company received its sixth patent for its ComfortMaster independent front suspension technology.

The company said the ComfortMaster system provides responsive handling and class-leading steer angle to improve maneuverability.

“The ComfortMaster represents our most thoroughly validated product ever,” Reyco Granning stated. “Because this technology is so unique, we thought it would boost confidence to go above and beyond our full menu of simulations and lab tests. So, we took a vehicle to the Navistar Proving Grounds and ran it through the rugged Altoona commercial bus route.”

The company said test results found the suspension provided a true 60-degree wheel cut angle. The angle is the highest allowed on 365 tires, Reyco Granning said, and with a suspension that weighs 275 pounds less than the legacy product.

ComfortMaster also is compatible with 385 tires.
