DRV Luxury Suites is unveiling its new 2022 interior design. The Chai Hickory mid-tone wood option will be joined by a redesigned upper deck.
“DRV Luxury Suites’ focus is always to provide a level of luxury that is unmatched by others in the industry, and the new 2022 interiors provide just that,” company Director of Design Andrea Graves said. “With the new Chai Hickory, the look and feel of the wood tones is sure to meet this goal, offering beautiful Hickory cabinetry throughout that any customer would love while providing the quality that they’ve come to expect.”
Other interior changes include a five-year hydrolysis warranty on furniture, a farmhouse kitchen sink and reconfigured closet space for full-time RVers.
“To better meet the needs of our loyal owners,” Graves said, “we wanted to give them more of what they want by providing what they need as a standard feature.”
DRV General Manager Shawn James said the redesigned upper deck is among the biggest 2022 changes.
“This redesign allowed us to create an additional 18.5 inches of usable space in our bedrooms and around the bed by eliminating the awkward step up known to most customers,” he said. “We also redesigned our battery and generator area, coining this area as DRV’s new mechanical compartment.”
Normally the generator compartment is centered. DRV moved it to the door side of the unit. The change enabled DRV to use extra room on the other side of the RV to create a much larger and user-friendly maintenance compartment.
The maintenance compartment houses mechanical items such as an inverter, hydraulic pump and reservoir, battery shut-off and a new 32×13.5-inch battery pull-out tray.
“We wanted our customers to know that their feedback is the driving force behind our innovation and felt that the time was perfect to implement these changes into our growing brand,” James said.
The compartment design gives DRV customers the ability to install four full-size batteries in one location. Maintaining the batteries requires unlocking the lever and sliding tray into position.
The new Chai Hickory interior and floorplan changes will be available on all 2022 Full House and Mobile Suites model floorplans.
