A partnership between Way Interglobal and Relion Battery will enable Way to add the lithium battery products to its OE and aftermarket power solution products.
Way now will offer lithium alternatives to conventional lead-acid batteries. Lithium batteries are lighter, charge faster and last 10 times longer than competitive 12-volt options.
Wayne Kaylor, Way CEO, said his company is proud to add Relion to its product line.
“Along with our trusted brands Elite, Greystone, Drive, Haven, and Everchill, we are always looking for mutually beneficial partnerships that will offer our customers the best solutions during their travels,” Kaylor said.
The Relion LiFePO4 RV batteries are maintenance-free, while lead-acid batteries require active maintenance to retain their life span.
Way’s vice president of product development, Christopher Greer, said Relion’s batteries fit well with power solutions Way offers.
“Relion’s batteries will be great for our customers who want to get more out of their RV,” Greer said. “Lithium is the sought-after battery in today’s RV marketplace, and Way is proud to offer the long-lasting, trusted power of Relion.”
Way designs its products for longer boondocking or trips off the grid. Adding the battery line will enable Way to offer complete RV solutions, the company stated, including appliances, electronics, and the necessary products to power them, including solar, generators, and deep cycle batteries.
Relion CEO Paul Hecimovich said the company is thrilled to offer its products to Way customers.
“We have the same goals,” Hecimovich said, “to provide reliable, long-lasting power so people can go where they want and when they want with ease. We look forward to this partnership and continuing to bring industry-leading lithium batteries to the forefront.”
