The upcoming 2022 Pennsylvania RV and Camping Association (PRVCA) Leadership Conference, set for Jan. 18-19, has shifted to a virtual conference after a sharp rise in Covid cases in Pennsylvania.

With the change, registration is now free. Log-in information will be sent to attendees 24 hours prior to the event.

The conference will focus on “Culture Shift” within the outdoor industry. The first day will feature a team-building exercise and networking. Day two will feature keynote addresses from Gabrielle Bosche, author of “Fighting the Great Resignation: Keeping Great Employees.” She plans to discuss specifically recruitment tools, the importance of proper onboarding, effective feedback and connecting employees to the company mission.

Additionally, the event will feature a Q&A session with Katy Friesz, head of corporate responsibility for Winnebago Industries.

PRVCA is additionally hosting a handful of training sessions within the first two months of 2022. The sessions range from new regulatory compliance measures to RV electrical system complexities. Each session will be led by a PRVCA member expert.

The first upcoming session is scheduled virtually for Jan. 13 from 10-11 a.m. Registration closes today, with registration forms available to email in on the PRVCA website. The session is free to members, and costs $25 for non-members.

The Jan. 13 session is set to be led by Don Busey, Pennsylvania Automotive Association director of training and compliance. Busey is set to discuss the new Driver License Verification program, which is mandatory starting this year; how to streamline obtaining a commercial driver’s license; and guidance on the updated FTC safeguard rules, among other topics.

On Jan. 25 and 27, Lippert Components will host training regarding its products in Wilkes-Barre and Meadville, Pennsylvania. Mike Sokol will host training on RV electricity in Port Trevorton on Feb. 21.

Other trainings planned will focus on Norcold products.
