Outdoorsy, the RV dealer financer and online rental platform, was named among the largest and fastest-growing marketplace startups and private companies on the a16z Marketplace 100 list.
The list was created by renowned venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. Outdoorsy ranked 16th overall after previously ranking 11th (2021) and 28th (2020). Among startups on the list, Outdoorsy ranked second overall in the travel category.
The Marketplace 100 is based on data from Bloomberg Second Measure, a consumer data analytics company analyzing billions of purchases to track real-time consumer behavior and relative sales across over 5,200 merchants.
“We are honored to be recognized for the third year in a row on the a16z Marketplace 100 list,” said Jeff Cavins, Outdoorsy co-founder and CEO. “This is a testament to our team’s continued dedication over the past year and what was a record year for the company. We have made a commitment to our customers to raise the marketplace standard and that is at the forefront of every decision made. This recognition acknowledges those efforts, and we could not be more proud.”
Compared with April 2021, Outdoorsy has seen a 13% year-over-year growth in bookings for summer departures.
