Lance Camper Mfg. Corp. recently installed equipment, adopted Lean manufacturing processes and recruited new staff to improve quality company-wide.
At Lance’s facility in Lancaster, California, the company installed a C.R. Onsrud Pro series machine. The machine will help the company deliver precise, consistent components to the assembly line, Lance Camper said.
Lance implemented Rev Group’s company-wide initiative for a Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing certification program. The program brings processes to support high-quality manufacturing and customer satisfaction, the company said.
Lance Camper also made several personnel changes, although the company did not detail changes or new hires.
“These key initiatives ensure Lance continues to ‘walk the talk’ and delivers on the latest marketing campaign theme: Quality is Standard Equipment,” Lance Camper Marketing Director Bob Rogers said.
