Campers Inn RV participated in First Coast News’ “Stuff the Bus” school supplies drive for Jacksonville, Florida, students. This is the third year in a row the dealership participated in the drive.
Campers Inn RV provided a Newmar Ventana Class A diesel motorhome for volunteers as they accepted donations from the community to fill a full-sized school bus. The company donated school supplies and had volunteers on site to collect donations during the event.
“This is an event that Campers Inn RV looks forward to every year. We want to do what we can to help kids start the school year off on the right foot,” said Larry Peter, Campers Inn’s vice president of the Southern Region. “Simply having the right school supplies can boost a child’s confidence and performance at school and these donations also help take some of the finical burdens off our wonderful educators so they can focus on teaching and guiding our next generation. We were honored to provide these selfless volunteers with a cool-down space in one of our Class A RVs as they helped out with this great cause.”
The drive is organized by First Coast News and United Way Northeast Florida. Materials collected will help support 57,000 students at 87 schools across the city. United Way of North Florida will distribute supplies to area schools.
