For the first time in three years Elkhart, Indiana, will be buzzing with peak national RV dealer activity.
Thousands of dealer representatives will flood Northern Indiana this week to view new RVs, connect with manufacturer and supplier representatives and network with other dealers.
Elkhart Chamber of Commerce President Levon Johnson said Open House has become the area’s largest event in terms of its impact on hotels, catering, restaurant and travel. Business leaders attending the event will find new display sites abound.
Forest River will set up shop at 29861 Old US Highway 33 in Elkhart, about 3 miles southwest of the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Executive Parkway displays. Winnebago will move its towable and motorized displays to Elcona Country Club, at 56784 County Road 21, about 6 miles southeast of the Hall of Fame.
InTech RV will host dealers at its manufacturing plant in Nappanee while Ember RV welcomes dealers by invite to its campground setup in Bristol. Alliance RV and Nexus RV also will set up displays at their manufacturing sites. Newmar will set up its display at the Ramco Engineering parking lot at 52965 Frederick Road.
Thor Industries brands will continue to set up displays at the Orthwein Pavilion outside the Hall of Fame. Grand Design and Rev Group are among the manufacturers lining Executive Parkway with their displays. Other manufacturers in the area are: Aliner, Black Series Campers, Braxton Creek, Encore, Gulf Stream, Helio, Little Guy, Mission Overland, Modern Buggy, nuCamp, Riverside, Roadtrek, Taxa Outdoors and Woodland Park.
Soaring Eagle will have its display at the southwest corner of County Road 17 and County Road 6.
As usual, entertainment will be plentiful. Grand Design’s dealer event tonight will feature Sammy Hagar performing. Forest River welcomes John Mellencamp on Tuesday night and Thor will present Florida Georgia Line on Wednesday.
The Supplier Show returns at the Hall of Fame for the second time. This year vendors will set up shop at more than 200 exhibit booths in the Hall.
