The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR), an outdoor recreation trade associations coalition, is hosting a webinar at 10 a.m. ET Nov. 9 to release the latest Outdoor Recreation Satellite Account report.
Last year was among the biggest in outdoor recreation economy history, organizers said. The report includes details about the outdoor recreation industry’s impact at national and state levels.
The 2020 report found RVing activity growing as the overall outdoor economy slowed. The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) report found the outdoor recreation economy had a $688 billion impact in 2020.
BEA representatives, congressional members and industry CEOs will join ORR for the webinar.
This is the fifth consecutive year that information is released by the BEA on how the outdoor industry grows jobs, builds healthy communities and supports the economy, ORR said.
