The National RV Training Academy’s (NRVTA) YouTube channel passed 43,000 subscribers able to stream the school’s library of almost 300 videos.
Tony Flammia, NRVTA’s director of sales and marketing, said after launching its RV Unplugged channel three weeks ago, more than 4,300 people subscribed to that channel as well.
“We have been blown away by the reception our videos are receiving by RVers and people thinking about buying an RV,” Flammia said. “We will post a video and have anywhere from 3,000 to 100,000 views within two weeks. That encourages us to produce even more videos because RVers are clearly hungry for more tech-oriented content.”
According to the NRVTA, the most popular videos on the YouTube channel are “Todd’s Tech Tip Tuesday” series, which recently increased to 10-minute episodes. In the videos, NRVTA Director of Education Todd Henson gives advice on how to use and maintain RVs.
NRVTA’s 2022 videos include:
- Todd’s Tech Tip Tuesday
- Your Gadget Fix
- The Beard & Bun Show
- What to Expect When Inspecting
“We are planning more video content for 2023 that will center on relatively easy, do-it-yourself, step-by-step processes consumers can follow to complete routine maintenance on their RVs as well as component equipment,” Flammia said.
