Redwood RV Adds Firefly Multiplex

Redwood RV partnered with Firefly Integrations to provide consumers with the supplier’s electrical control and monitoring system for model year 2023 RVs.

The Firefly System will provide RVers’ easy electrical system access with switches located around the coach, a touchscreen in the main living quarters and a mobile app to control the RV.

Redwood RV, a division of Crossroads RV in Topeka, Indiana, builds luxury fifth wheels. Redwood has over a decade in the business.

“The Firefly System adds to our unit by giving our customers easy access to the entire unit whether they are on-site or out exploring,” said Tim Cress, product manager at Redwood.

Cress said many Redwood owners travel with pets and stay in areas with warmer climates. Firefly’s Eclipse app provides ambient temperature monitoring and HVAC system control to ensure pets are safe and comfortable.

For owners who enjoy boondocking, the app provides quick and accurate tank level visibility. The Firefly Touchscreen gives owners a look at freshwater levels so they can ration water usage appropriately, the supplier said.

The Firefly System offers essential key features such as Bluetooth pairing from the touchscreen to consumers’ mobile devices and RV system status reports, Firefly said. The Firefly multiplex also operates lights, slides, leveling jacks, HVAC systems and the generator.

A 2023 Redwood RV featuring the Firefly System will be on display at the Tampa SuperShow from Jan. 18-20.
