Kampgrounds of America (KOA) is sponsoring grants to get consumers to connect to the natural world.
The organization is calling for website submissions to get consumers thinking about adventure. The KOA Get Out There Grant will be given to the applicants who let the organization know where they want to go and why in the most compelling manner.
The KOA website offers sample stories in video format for entrants to peruse for inspiration.
A KOA judging panel will review all submissions and select grant recipients. Grants range from $1,000 to $5,000 per participant, the KOA site said. The grant amount depends on the described adventure.
If selected, KOA’s video team will follow the winner to document the adventure and inspire others to get outdoors, KOA said.
