Jayco will build all its 2024 RV models fully self-contained, complying with Harvest Hosts guidelines to ensure consumers each 2024 Jayco model can be parked at Harvest Hosts locations.
To be fully self-contained, according to Harvest Hosts, RVs must include an interior toilet and built-in holding tanks or bladders for wastewater. Portable toilets remaining inside the RV are acceptable as long as they are dumped off-site. Gray water dumping on Harvest Host properties is prohibited. Cooking outdoors also is prohibited.
“Our mission at Harvest Hosts is to connect RVers with unique experiences and stays, and we want to make that process as easy as possible for our members,” said Bill Zhang, chief marketing officer at Harvest Hosts. “We are thrilled to launch Harvest Hosts Adventure Ready RVs in partnership with Jayco and look forward to expanding this program with additional manufacturers in the future.”
Trey Miller, Jayco’s vice president of marketing, said consumers are seeking boondocking adventures and want to explore areas outside traditional campgrounds.
“The Harvest Hosts Adventure Ready program allows them to do just that,” he said. “Knowing our 2024 lineup is fully self-contained and offers off-grid standards and options such as solar and lithium packages, our customers can confidently hit the road knowing they will be ready for an adventure with thousands more amazing places to park overnight.”
The Harvest Hosts Adventure Ready program will include RV/camper models that are fully equipped and compliant with Harvest Hosts guidelines, enabling them to park overnight at all Harvest Hosts locations. Jayco is the first RV manufacturer to announce all of its 2024 models will be Harvest Hosts Adventure Ready.
Harvest Hosts sites primarily are small businesses such as wineries, farms and museums. As a result, Harvest Hosts, said, they are not able to provide typical RV campground services such as electricity, water and sewer hookups.
Jayco 2024 RV models compliant under Adventure Ready standards include the Jay Flight, Jay Feather, White Hawk, Eagle, Seismic, North Point, Pinnacle, Redhawk, Greyhawk, Melbourne, Seneca, Alante, Precept, Swift, Terrain, Solstice and Embark.
Harvest Hosts said the company plans to expand the Adventure Ready Program in the future with other RV manufacturers.
