Markquart RV, based in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, expanded to its fifth Wisconsin location after buying New Generation RV.
New Generation RV is based in Burlington, Wisconsin, and was owned by Mark Merkling.
“Over the years, I have been very fortunate to assemble a truly great team of passionate RV associates,” Merkling said, “who are all looking forward to joining the new ownership group, Markquart RV.”
Merkling spent the first two decades of his RV career working for Burlington RV and former owner Tim Wegge. In 2015, Merkling branched out to open New Generation RV with two employees and a 1.5-acre lot. A year later, Merkling bought a 20-acre plot of land and moved New Generation RV to the site in 2019.
Markquart RV President Charlee Markquart said it was a pleasure getting to know Merkling and the New Generation RV team during the sale process.
“He has built a great culture and we look forward to integrating them into our family of dealerships,” Charlee Markquart said.
RV Business Solutions was the exclusive sell-side advisor to Merkling. Both dealership leaders praised the work the company did in securing the sale.

Markquart RV now operates Wisconsin stores in Arkansaw, Bloomer and Menomonie in addition to Burlington and Chippewa Falls.
