Viewers eagerly queued up to watch the new Alliance RV travel trailer unveiling online ahead of the event start and at Alliance headquarters May 9.
At the company’s headquarters, Ryan and Coley Brady, Alliance co-founders, stood in front of a black curtain that dropped at the event’s start amid smoke screen effects and heavy rock music to reveal the new travel trailer.
Online viewers posted chats in rapid-fire succession, “Love the name,” “A Team!” “Ohhh! They put those nice hefty ladders on the back!” and “It’s beautiful!”
Employees, the company’s “A-Team,” crowded into the space at the Alliance plant wearing black T-shirts with white “Delta” logo lettering.
According to Ryan Brady, the Delta travel trailer, the company’s first traditional travel trailer line, has been 12 months in the making. The company followed a crowd-sourcing development model to build Delta, as it did for its three previous brands.
“I cannot tell you the number of dealers that we have talked to, the allies, who, many are on our livestream here today,” Ryan Brady said. “I want to thank you allies for your invaluable input to this product. We have done focus groups; we have scoured YouTube videos; we even did a seminar down at the Tampa RV show, all in an effort to understand how we can enhance this category. We did not just want to come out with a ‘me-too’ product. We wanted to raise the bar. We wanted to change the game.”
Coley Brady called the event a momentous day. He thanked the company’s employees, dealer partners and vendors in attendance and those watching the reveal online. He said Alliance RV’s patience in developing the product paid off.
“We have been behind the scenes, working hard on this Delta, and we did not rush it,” he said. “Dealers were pushing us for a travel trailer, but it was not a race to see how big we could get and how fast we could get there.”
Coley Brady touted Alliance RV’s production since 2019’s founding. The manufacturer has shipped over 10,000 fifth wheels and sold more than 9,000 fifth wheels in retail. The latest Statistical Surveys Inc. report showed Alliance with a 5.8% market share in North American fifth wheel sales.
“Meaning one in every 17 fifth wheels sold in North America in an Alliance,” Coley Brady said. “That is huge. That is awesome.”
Ryan Brady shared some top features with the crowd before letting them tour the RV, the sixth prototype Delta travel trailer made. He said passthrough storage is the largest in the segment, and outdoor storage totals 71 cubic feet. Three-way switches for awnings and slide outs are included, and Ryan Brady said Delta featured deeper slides and taller slide boxes than competitors. Additionally, Delta travel trailers include two standard air conditioners.
“As you look at the unit,” he said, “obviously, it’s a beautiful RV.”
