Protective Asset Protection Expands F&I Training

Protective Asset Protection expanded its F&I professional development program. The company created a new in-person and online curriculum and hired a new training team member.

To launch the online program, Protection’s Protective Training Institute will conduct a monthly webinar series beginning in June.

The webinars will be 30 minutes long and will be provided at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET the third Wednesday of each month. To sign up for webinars, click here.

“The team at Protective has always placed a high priority on training and skill development for professionals of every skill level in the industry,” said Bill Koster, vice president of specialty sales and training for Protective Asset Protection. “We recognize that our dealer partners must have the proper knowledge to effectively educate their personnel on their F&I products which will help them protect their customer’s asset investments over the years.”

Webinar topics include:

  • June 21: How people make decisions
  • July 19: How to introduce a menu of options
  • 16: Menu design and presentation
  • 20: The role of professional curiosity
  • 18: Guiding your customer from no to yes
  • 15: Building your best closes
  • 20: A-Z process review

Protective’s training team also created an Advanced Class for F&I Skills. The class will help senior F&I professionals sharpen their skill sets. The first Advanced Class will be in St. Louis on Oct. 17-18. Sign up by clicking here.

  • Providing real-world knowledge
  • Practical skill building
  • Hands-on role-playing
  • Focusing on industry-wide best practices
  • Review streamlined interview techniques
  • Protective’s philosophy and techniques
  • Advanced objection handling skills

Protective also will offer Protective’s Agent Certification (PAC) class. The class provides an end-to-end solution with knowledge and tools to successfully represent Protective in the marketplace.

The two-day workshop is taught by experienced Protective team members and will review all Protective product offerings, technology options, program structures and business processes.
