Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration announced May 4 that COVID-19 mitigation orders, except masking, will be lifted May 31, which is Memorial Day.
The order requiring Pennsylvanians to wear masks will be lifted when 70% of Pennsylvanians age 18 and older are fully vaccinated, the administration said.
Face coverings are required to be worn indoors and outdoors when away from the home. In accordance with the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance, fully vaccinated Pennsylvanians are not required to wear a mask during certain activities.
