The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) is releasing a complimentary trial program for consumers to evaluate content included in the RVTechCourse home-study course.
Taught by Todd Henson, NRVTA’s director of education, the full course features more than 81 15- to 20-minute video segments. The videos cover major systems onboard every RV type. The new trial program includes a free lesson from categories in the RVTechCourse, including:
- RV electrical systems using either 120-volt AC power or 12-volt DC power
- RV propane systems and how to safely use them
- RV water systems using on-board tanks or connected to a water source
- RV appliances, including refrigerators, air conditioners, water heaters and furnaces
“That is two hours of free training,” said Tony Flammia, NRVTA director of sales and marketing. “People who have watched Todd’s weekly Tech Tip Tuesday videos on YouTube are already familiar with his style of teaching. However, people who have not seen Todd in action now have an opportunity to watch a few classes before opting to start the full home-study course.”
According to Henson, the videos will empower RV owners, even those who do not have significant technical skills, with the knowledge they need to diagnose and fix most common problems. The videos explain how to perform routine RV maintenance to keep them ready to use.
“After completing the trial course, RV users know what they can expect from each of the lessons,” Henson said. “Our purpose is to ensure people know what to do if something is not working on their RV so they can enjoy the fun experiences they hoped to have after making a sizeable investment in the RV lifestyle.”
