Heartland RVs biannual North American Owners Rally brought Heartland RV consumers together earlier this summer. The show included pre-rally events from June 5-11 and the rally itself from June 12-18.
In the pre-rally week, Heartland RV designed events around local attractions such as historic tours and visits to the RV/MH Hall of Fame.
During the rally, Heartland RV hosted educational seminars about RV safety, presentations from components vendors and tank cleaning demonstrations. Dexter Axle Co. sponsored a Saturday night concert with John King and John Sapen from The Sapen Brothers, and fitness instructor Ashle Horvath led low-impact exercise classes in the mornings.
Heartland RV Director of Marketing Lesley Melvin said: “The Heartland Owners Rally is a huge opportunity for RVers to come together and learn, make new friends and meet up with old friends, and enjoy themselves among other Heartland owners. We arranged a mix of events, from more adult-focused RV seminars to family-friendly entertainment, so every guest will have a good time.”
Local businesses provided food to rally attendees with several local food trucks on site. A silent auction raised $12,000 for LoveWay Inc., a non-profit facilitating therapeutic horseback riding for individuals with disabilities.
Heartland RV Marketing Manager Amber Alber said: “After pausing rallies and events during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was important to Heartland as a company to invite all our loyal owners across North America to an event dedicated to them, that focuses and supports their needs as Heartland RV owners. Offering educational sessions, a vendor marketplace, and the opportunity to meet and converse face-to-face to Heartland representatives, along with the wide variety of rally activities, I feel confident that the impact made, and the impressions left at the end of the rally are clear indicators that the future of Heartland and the Heartland Owners Club is headed in the right direction.”
Attendees could also tour the Heartland campus and see the manufacturing, audit and parts facilities. The newly expanded, 212,000-square-foot campus features a 73,000-square-foot parts warehouse, an 82,000-square-foot audit building, and a 53,000-square-foot retail center. An onsite body shop has 26 repair bays plus five overnight, full hook-up pads RVers can use for free when they bring their RV in for service.
The next Heartland RVs North American Owners Rally will be held June 2-8, 2025, at the Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds in Goshen, Indiana.
