Innovative Sleep Technologies (IST) is bringing its Road Star Beds brand to the RV market. The adjustable bed bases are designed and engineered for RVs.
The bed bases include a wireless remote control to lift the head and foot area. The bed base includes mattress retainer bars and a stowage hook and strap.
Adjustable bases are available in split queen or split king sizes, suitable for most Type A and Type C motorhomes, IST said.
IST President John Schulte said: “Quality sleep is essential for performance in our daily lives, and when it comes to better sleep on the road, it is also about personal and public safety. Road Star Beds makes it possible for the first time to bring that ‘home bed comfort’ to the mobile lifestyle. This is a game-changer.”
Road Star Beds are available for retail sales, with Camping World the first dealership to sell the adjustable bed bases. Road Star Beds will be on display at three October events:
- Overland Expo East, Oct. 6-8, 2023
- Myrtle Beach RV Show, Oct. 10-13, 2023
- Tampa Bay Fall RV Show, Nov. 9-12, 2023
The model 200 RV adjustable base has a clamshell hinged design, providing a full range of motion to customize the sleep position. The bed base features one programmable memory position and one pre-programmed position. The bed base is built from iron and steel tubular frame with breathable mesh upholstery.
