Rev Recreation Group (RRG) has made Type B motorhomes under the Midwest Automotive Design brand since buying the company in 2017.
In the 2024 model year, a new RRG brand will build Type B motorhomes, under the Fleetwood RV brand family.
Fleetwood will launch Type B motorhomes under the Fleetwood brand, the Xcursion, and the Holiday Rambler brand, the Xpedition.
Wes Dunker, Fleetwood’s director of sales and marketing, said the manufacturer planned to exceed consumers’ expectations with the Xcursion and Xpedition.
“The optional Freedom Package,” he said, “further exemplifies Fleetwood RV’s dedication to providing innovative solutions for a sustainable and adventurous outdoor lifestyle.”
The motorhomes will feature multiple floorplans. Fleetwood said the options meet consumers’ diverse needs.
The AL2 floorplan is a design built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 144-inch wheelbase. The AL2 is built to drive off-road and can be equipped with all-wheel drive and a roof rack.
The SL2 floorplan is a design built on the 170-inch wheelbase Sprinter. Two other floorplans, the SL2E and SL4E, are built on the 177-inch wheelbase Sprinter with additional seating.
Doug Miller, Fleetwood product manager, said, “We apply the same attention to detail and design principles in our Class Bs as we do in our Class A motorhomes. Maintaining the distinct Fleetwood and Holiday Rambler look and feel was a priority for us. The Xcursion and Xpedition may be compact, but they retain all the comforts and touches that our owners have cherished for many years.”
Additional features and benefits were not released. Fleetwood Xcursion motorhomes are expected to arrive at dealers’ lots this month. Holiday Rambler Xpedition motorhomes are expected to ship in January.
