One year ago, a fiberglass teardrop trailer with a seaglass blue exterior made its long-awaited North American debut.

This month, nuCamp will celebrate the Barefoot teardrop’s anniversary at the 2024 Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa, Florida. As part of the festivities, nuCamp will unveil a new Barefoot color option.

nuCamp CEO Scott Hubble said, “We are thrilled to celebrate one year of Barefoot in production, and what better way to mark this milestone than by unveiling a new color option at the Florida RV SuperShow.”

Manufacturing began in December 2022, three years after nuCamp gained exclusive North American rights from British-based manufacturer Barefoot Caravans.

At the Tampa show, consumers will have the opportunity to converse with the British creators. Cathy Chamberlain and Ben Matthews will fly in from the United Kingdom to celebrate the teardrop’s anniversary with nuCamp.

Chamberlain and Matthews will answer questions and provide insight on the teardrop trailer. An interactive Q&A session with the designers will be held at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 17-19 at nuCamp’s booth, 330.

“Having Cathy and Ben at the show provides a rare opportunity for our community to connect with the creators behind the brand,” Hubble said. “We look forward to sharing the passion and dedication that goes into making Barefoot a standout choice in the travel trailer market.”

The trailer has a 2,315 pounds dry weight, is 16 feet long, 7 feet wide and 8 feet tall.
