Camping World dealerships in Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Florida, North Carolina and Texas will open in the first three months of 2024. Camping World intends to open 15 dealerships in the next three months. The acquisitions will include rebranded existing facilities and previously announced acquisitions closing.
Camping World Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis said, “As we start 2024, we are driven to work towards our goal of increasing our dealership count to over 320 locations in the next five years.”
The dealership chain kicked off the new year by closing on Ashley Outdoors in Salem, Alabama, a deal first announced in November.
Camping World intends to open stores in Cape Girardeau and Springfield, Missouri; Melbourne, Orange Park, Pinellas Park and Clermont, Florida; and Lewisville, Texas.
The dealer chain will open six manufacturer-exclusive dealerships in the first quarter of 2024.
Jayco-exclusive stores will open in Byron, Georgia and Benton, Arkansas.
Forest River-exclusive dealerships will open in Little Rock, Arkansas; Ocala, Florida; Greenville, North Carolina and Statesville, North Carolina. The Little Rock store was the only Forest River-exclusive location previously announced.
The dealer chain is also working on closing on a location in Brooksville, Florida.
“Based on continued demand stabilization, the team is confident in opening 15 additional locations ahead of the selling season,” Lemonis said. “These openings are separate from any future RV dealership acquisitions that may happen throughout the 2024 calendar year.”
