Campers Inn RV will be a multi-year associate sponsor for Richard Childress Racing’s (RCR) team in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series.

As part of the agreement with RCR, Campers Inn RV will be RCR’s official RV partner.

Jeff Hirsch, president and CEO of Campers Inn RV, said, “Richard Childress Racing shares our values and goals of delivering best-in-class performance and quality. RCR is synonymous with success in motorsports, and we could not be more pleased to forge a relationship with such an iconic race team. We are looking forward to a successful partnership both on and off the track.”

RCR will field two full-time cars in the 2024 Cup Series. Two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch and former Xfinity Series and Truck Series champion Austin Dillon is the other.

Larry Peter, Campers Inn’s vice president of southern operations and finance, said Campers Inn RV is thrilled to be RCR’s official RV partner for RCR.

“As we continue to venture into the world of professional racing, RCR’s on-track success speaks for itself,” Peter said. “Both organizations take pride in being the best in their respective industries, so teaming up with RCR is an honor. We look forward to a very exciting and successful season in 2024 and for years to come.”

Campers Inn RV is a dealer chain with 38 locations in 19 states.

Richard Childress, RCR chairman and CEO, said, “We have gotten to know the leadership team at Campers Inn RV over the last year and they are a great group of people. Everyone at Campers Inn RV is family-oriented and customer-focused. Their business aligns well with the many NASCAR fans who bring their campers to races throughout the country. We are proud to represent the company and their dealers across the country.”

Campers Inn will sponsor two other teams this year, continuing deals with Kaulig Racing in select Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity races and with ThorSport’s Truck Series team.

Motorsports is an active category for RV industry partnerships.

Camping World has been a sponsor of the NHRA drag racing series since 2020 and in October extended its sponsorship deal through 2026. As part of the new multiyear extension, Camping World will continue to be NHRA’s official RV, RV dealer and outdoor supply company. Camping World will receive prominent media programming, including commercials and enhancements during the NHRA on Fox broadcasts, digital advertising, social media integration and strategic on-site brand placement.

Icon Direct will sponsor Canadian driver Amber Balcaen for the fourth consecutive season. Balcaen drove part-time in 2023 but secured a full-time ride in 2024 with Venturini Motorsports. Balcaen will compete in the ARCA Menards series.

Blue Compass RV sponsored NASCAR and Indycar series teams in 2023.

Blue Compass has sponsored the Legacy Motor Club in NASCAR the past two seasons. Legacy Motor Club fields two full-time cars, driven by Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek, and a part-time ride for seven-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson.

The dealer chain sponsored Rahal Letterman Lanigan (RLL) Racing teams for the past two years. Last year, Blue Compass RV sponsored Graham Rahal’s car and Katherine Legge’s Indy 500 entry.
