In mid-February, over 30 Newmar service technicians received Level 1 training at the RV Technical Institute’s (RVTI) headquarters in Indiana.
The technicians took the Level 1 exam at the course’s end. RVTI said most techs passed both Level 1 exams and will become certified service technicians.
Newmar Corp. President Casey Tubman, an RVTI board of directors member, said he was encouraged to see the technicians in training.
He said, “We appreciate the institute providing the tools and testing necessary to maintain these high standards of service.”
RVTI Director of Education Bill Stewart taught the course. He was supported by Sharonne Lee, RVTI vice president of education and operations, and Halle Edmister, RVTI’s account specialist.
Stewart said the Newmar technicians were attentive, asked great questions and were among RVTI’s best classes yet.
