The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) expanded its spectrum with seven new members.
The new members are Eddyline Kayaks, the Massachusetts Office of Outdoor Recreation, the Pennsylvania Office of Outdoor Recreation, Rails to Trails Conservancy, the Trust for Public Land, the University of Arkansas Outdoor Products and Services Program and the Wisconsin Office of Outdoor Recreation.
ORR President Jessica Wahl Turner said, “This dynamic group of new members reinforces ORR’s mission to unite the outdoor recreation industry and advocate for the economic, social and quality of life benefits of outdoor activities of all types.”
With the additions, ORR has 59 members, according to the organization’s website.
The new organizations encapsulate various outdoor community interests and sectors including government initiatives, private enterprises, non-profits, new products and land conservation.
ORR Vice President of Programs Chris Perkins said ORR members play a critical role in outdoor recreation accessibility.
“Their contributions are invaluable,” Perkins said, “as we work together to ensure the outdoor industry remains a cornerstone of economic strength and community well-being.”
