Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) will take part in the South by Southwest Conference and Festival today.
ORR Senior Program Director and Together Outdoors Lead Ambreen Tariq will speak on Midwest House’s panel, titled “Building an Outdoors Where We All Can Thrive,” from 3-4 p.m.
Midwest House highlights talent and innovation in the Midwest region. The collaboration connects innovators and creatives.
Tariq will join Outdoor Foundation’s Lesford Duncan, Black Outside’s Alex Bailey and Friends of the Grand Rapids Parks’ Stacy Bare on the panel. The festival is held in Austin, Texas.
“It is a momentous opportunity to bridge the gap between innovation, creativity and inclusivity in the outdoors,” Tariq said. “I am thrilled to join forces with outdoor industry innovators and powerhouses like Lesford Duncan, Alex Bailey and Stacy Bare to delve into new ideas and innovations around transforming outdoor spaces and experiences to be welcoming for all.”
