Expion360 Batteries Achieve UL 1973 Certification

Expion360 Inc.’s EX1 SmartTalk Bluetooth batteries are now UL 1973 compliant. The UL 1973 certification ensures the EX1 SmartTalk Bluetooth batteries meet energy storage systems safety standards.

With the certification, Expion360 said customers can have peace of mind knowing their batteries underwent rigorous testing and adhere to strict safety protocols.

Expion360 CEO Brian Schaffner said, “We are proud to achieve UL 1973 compliance for our EX1 SmartTalk Bluetooth batteries. This certification not only underscores our unwavering commitment to safety but also our dedication to innovation and excellence in a growing industry.”

The EX1 SmartTalk Bluetooth batteries are available in a 12.8-volt configuration with capacities of 368 amp-hours and 450 amp-hours. The batteries’ SmartTalk Bluetooth functionality enables seamless monitoring and control.

“The e360 battery delivers reliable and consistent power for all our customers’ adventures,” Schaffner said. “Our batteries are powering RVs traveling the country’s highways and backroads, overland vehicles navigating remote dirt roads, vans built out for off-grid living, marine vessels and off-grid homes.”

Expion360 said the company believes the UL 1973 certification places Expion360 in an advantageous position to capitalize on expected industry growth.
