The Outdoor Hospitality Industry (OHI) announced 75 George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality 2024 graduates. The annual OHI educational event emphasizes business management principles and practices applicable to the outdoor hospitality industry. Park, campground and glamping owners, managers, operators and staff completed the course.
OHI Chief of Strategy Officer David Basler said, “Completing any year of National School is a unique accomplishment and shows the dedication each of these members have to professional growth and the growth of their businesses and our industry.”
The association will recognize OHI members and previous graduates at the Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo 2024. The conference is scheduled for Nov. 4-7 in Oklahoma City.
The event marked 31 years of learning under the George O’Leary National School.
Jim Button is the OHI board of directors vice chair, Evergreen Campsites owner and National School instructor.
“Students walk away ready to face anything.” Button said. “The incredible rigor and skills built into the curriculum at National School ensures students are well-equipped to tackle existing problems at their park, and whatever might be thrown their way.”
